Director of Automated Parking Systems
Ian has over 20 years’ experience in Automated Parking Systems in both Europe and the US. During this time, Ian has held a variety of roles such as product development, project management, marketing, business development, and sales. He holds a BE in Naval Architecture and a MS in Engineering Project Management. Throughout his career, Ian has overseen subcontracted specialist integrated engineering companies, OEMs and in-house mechanical, electrical/controls and software engineers to develop automated parking systems in Europe & the US. Outside of work, Ian is busy being a father of 4 children but whenever he can find the time, he enjoys spending some time on the golf course.
Business Development Associate, Automated Parking Systems
Drew is one of the newest members of the APS team and joined Westfalia in January 2021. He obtained a bachelor's degree in organizational management with a minor in human resources. During his final year of college, Drew took a course in Sales Development which immediately sparked an interest! Drew engages with the market and generates leads for the APS team and educates the architects and developers about the benefits of automated parking for their projects. Outside of work, Drew loves to spend time with family and friends by grilling on nice days and exploring the world. You'll also find him shooting some hoops and flexing his collegiate basketball skills on the court.
Field Service Technician: Automated Parking
Justin has been with Westfalia since 2019 and has been within the mechanical field for over 7 years. He has his associates in Mechatronics which focuses on more hands-on skills along with preparation for field service work. Justin monitors Westfalia’s automated parking system at our customer site, 500 Walnut and takes care of any electrical or mechanical repairs including preventative maintenance inspections, assists the customer with faults, take part in weekly customer meetings, perform system modifications and upgrade. Outside of work, Justin enjoys the outdoors by going camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and even skydiving!
Senior Project Manager
John has been with Westfalia since March of 2019 and brings almost 20 years of industrial automation experience. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration. John had worked for Westfalia once previously in 2006 and was brought back in the company in 2019 as the Field Service Manager for Automated Parking Systems. Now as a Project Manager, he is now responsible for the schedule, scope, and budget for APS projects. He is the primary communication point with the customer and makes sure that all loose ends are tied and that the projects move forward. Outside of work, John loves spending time with his wife and two children, and their two chocolate labs (Athena & Nike) along with running, biking, and swimming. He has completed one ultra-marathon and registered for a 70.3 Half Ironman for 2022!
Controls Systems Engineer
Roger has been with Westfalia since 2014 and brings over 20 years of industrial controls experience. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering which comes in handy when making improvements to automated parking systems. Roger also takes part in system and equipment design, controls hardware setup and programming, and system & equipment testing. Outside of work, Roger enjoys hiking/exploring, collecting high points in different states, and amateur radio.
Director of Product Development
David has been with Westfalia for 8 years and has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He has been working as an engineer and involved with the industry since 1993 implementing large capital projects, engineering material handling equipment, online quoting system implementation and machine design. David is a Certified Solidworks Professional and works on product development projects and project management for APS and EV charging. Outside of work, David enjoys camping, bicycling, auto touring, and DIY projects.
