Maintaining your investment to keep vehicles flowing

As with the numerous warehouse automation systems Westfalia supports worldwide, our partnership doesn’t end at installation. We pride ourselves in building lasting relationships with our customers, ensuring you are successful. Maintenance of your automated parking system is just as important to Westfalia as it is to you.

Recommended Preventative Maintenance:

Preventative maintenance will ensure your system remains running as smooth as when it was first installed. Westfalia recommends performing preventative maintenance on intervals that are based on the performance (vehicle throughput) of the system (generally two to four times per year). During each preventative maintenance visit, Westfalia will perform the following broad activities:

  • General inspection of the automated parking system
  • Review of all safety and operational features
  • Examination of major components
  • Replacement of damaged or worn parts
  • Lubrication of system components

Westfalia offers three options for maintenance:

Option 1: All-inclusive service agreement

This agreement is the most comprehensive and worry-free agreement Westfalia offers. Westfalia is responsible for the following:

  • Maintenance of your system, including corrective and preventative maintenance
  • Software support and upgrades
  • Spare parts replenishment

No need to worry about maintenance with this agreement. Westfalia is responsible for all of the maintenance and service on your system.

Option 2: Preventative maintenance agreement

This is an annual agreement for planned preventative maintenance, labor and travel costs only. Replacement parts are not included. 24/7 support may or may not be included in this agreement. This option is customized based on the individual users needs.

Option 3: Pay as you go

With this option, you would be responsible for payment of all support services and spare parts at time of service.
